ABOUT THE ROLE

At bloopark, we're aiming to be a leading company in Odoo’s ERP systems and E-commerce projects. To accomplish that, we are seeking exceptionally talented, bright, and dedicated people. We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Human Resources department as a HR Specialist (w/m) in Germany.

The HR specialist is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides Human Resources support to our fulfillment . The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Successful candidates will be responsible for:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating

  • Refine and Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees

  • Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed

  • Informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.

  • Addressing any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations

  • Processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval

  • Overseeing hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks

  • Coordinating internal and external company activities ( Presentations, meetings, events and training courses)

YOUR REQUIRED SKILLS

  • German native or at least C2 level, Fluent English

  • Ability to work in teams, adapting approach to fulfil team’s objectives 

  • Confidence to work alone to deliver tasks on time 

  • Ability to adapt communication style to meet requirements

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills: must display patience, humor and helpfulness at all times – front line contact for employee issues.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills: accuracy is essential.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Human Resource Management or related subjects

  • Previous experience with Payroll Systems

  • 2+ years’ exposure to the human resources functions

  • Knowledge in German employment law

  • Human Resources training and experience desired.

ABOUT MAGDEBURG

Magdeburg is the capital of Saxony-Anhalt and has about 240,000 inhabitants. It was first documented in 805. In the Middle Ages one of the largest cities in the German-speaking world, it had a significant position as a Hanseatic city. Heavily destroyed in the Second World War, only a part of the old churches and buildings could be rebuilt. The old city walls and churches testify to the former splendor.
